#6 – I will survive – Cake

[from 'the Prophet's Isra' and Mi'raj',

Allah Continued:

I have sent you for all people, without exception, a bearer of glad tidings and a warner.

I have expanded your breast for you and relieved you of  your burden and exalted your name; and I am not mentioned except you are mentioned with me.

I have made your Community the best Community ever brought out for the benefit of mankind.

I have made your Community a mean and a middle.

I have made your Community in truth the first and the last of all Communities.

I have made public address (al-khutba) impermissible for your Community unless they first witness that you are My servant and Messenger.

I have placed certain people in your Community with Evangels for hearts.  (footnote 36)

I have made you the first Prophet created and the last one sent and the first one heard in My court.

I have given you Seven of the Oft-Repeated which I gave to no other Prophet before you. (footnote 37)

I have given you the last verses of Surat al-Baqara, which constitute a treasure from under My Throne that I gave to no other Prophet before you.

I have given you the Kawthar.

I have given you eight lots: Islam, Emigration (al-hijra), Jihad, Charity (al-sadaqa), Fasting Ramadhan, Ordering Good, and Forbidding Evil; and the day I created the heavens and the earth I made obligatory upon you and upon your community fifty prayers: therefore establish them, you and your Community.

(Al-Shami added:) Abu Hurayra said that Allah’s Messenger said:

My Lord has preferred me over everyone else (faddalani rabbi)

He has sent me as a mercy to the worlds and to all people without exception, a bearer of glad tidings and a warner.

He has thrown into the hearts of my enemies at a distance of one month’s travel.

He has made spoils of war lawful for me while they were not lawful for anyone before me.

The entire earth has been made a ritually pure place of prostration for me.

I was given the words that open, those that close, and those that are comprehensive in meaning (foonote 38)

My Community was shown to me and there is non of the followers and the followed but he is known to me.

I saw that they would come to a people that wear hair covered sandals.

I saw that they would come to a people of large faces and small eyes as if they had been pierced with a needle.

Nothing of what they would face in the future has been kept hiddent from me.

And I have been ordered to perform fifty prayers daily.

And he had been given three particular merits : He is the Master of Messengers (sayyid al-Mursalin), the leader of the Godwary (imam al-muttaqin), and the chief of Those With Signs of Light on Their Faces and Limbs (qa’id al-ghurr al-muhajjalin).

SimplyIslam.sg is pleased to announce the visit and programs by Habib Umar Bin Hafiz, from 23 to 26 April 2009. Habib Umar bin Hafiz is a descendant of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. He was born in Tarim, Hadramaut in Yemen, and raised in a household that possessed a tradition and lineage of Islamic scholarship and righteousness, his father being the famous scholar and caller to Islam, Al-Habib Muhammad bin Salim. Having memorized the Qur’an at a very early age, Habib Umar also memorized the core texts in fiqh, hadith, Arabic Language, and other religious sciences. He studied many sciences including spirituality from his father Al-Habib Muhammad bin Salim. He attended numerous circles of knowledge held by many traditional scholars, such as Muhammad bin Alawi bin Shihab and al-Shaikh Fadl Baa Fadl. Later, he enrolled at the Ribat of al-Bayda’, where he began to study the traditional sciences under the expert tutelage of Al-Habib Muhammad bin Abd-Allah al-Haddar, as well as under the Shafi‘i jurist and scholar Al-Habib Zain bin Sumait. Habib Umar was given permission to teach soon after.  Al-Habib Umar then traveled to the Hijaz and studied with prominent scholars, including Al-Habib Abdul Qadir bin Ahmad al-Saqqaf, Al-Habib Ahmed Mashur al-Haddad, and Al-Habib Attas al-Habashi.  After returning to Tarim, he established Dar al-Mustafa, a now renowned Islamic institute of higher Islamic learning. ألا يا الله بنظرة

أَلاَ يَا الله بِنَظْرَة مِنَ الْعَيْنِ الرَّحِيْمـَة

Ya Allah ! limpahkanlah kurnia rahmat-Mu

تُدَاوِي كُلَّ مَا بِي مِنْ أَمْرَاضٍ سَقِيْمَة

Yang dapat menyembuhkan semua penyakit-penyakit yang ada padaku

ألاَ ياَ صَاحِ يا صَاحِ لاَ تَجْزَعْ وتَضْجَرْ

Wahai kawanku! Wahai kawanku! Janganlah engkau gelisah dan jangan bosan

وسَلِّمْ لِلْمَقَادِيْـر كَيْ تُحْمَدْ وتُؤْجـَرْ

Serahkanlah pada takdir agar engkau dipuji dan di beri pahala

وَكُـنْ رَاضِي بِمَا قَدَّرَ المَوْلَى ودَبَّـر

Dan jadilah hamba yang redha atas apa yang telah di takdirkan Allah, dan diaturkanNya

وَلاَ تَسْخَطْ قَضَا اللهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ اْلأَكْبَر

Dan janganlah engkau ingkar akan takdir Allah Tuhan Arsy yang

Maha Besar

وَكُنْ صَابِرْ وَشَاكِرْ

Jadilah engkau orang yang bersabar dan bersyukur

تَكُنْ فَائِزْ وَظَافِـرْ

Maka engkau akan menjadi orang yang berjaya dan menang

وَمِنْ أَهْلِ السَّرَائـِر

Dan menjadi kelompok orang orang ahli sir (rahsia)

رِجَالِ اللهِ مِنْ كُلِّ ذِيْ قَلْبٍ مُنـَوَّرٍ

Yaitu hamba-hamba Allah yang memiliki hati yang bercahaya

مُصَفًّى مِنْ جَمِيْعِ الدَّنَسِ طَيِّبٍ مُطَهَّرٍ

Yang bersih dari segala noda (kotoran hati), baik dan suci

وَذِهْ دُنْيـَا دَنِيـَّة حَوَادِثُهَا كَثِـيْرَة

Dunia ini hina, dan banyak kejadian-kejadiannya

وَعِيْشَـتُهَا حَقِيْرَة وَمُدَّتُهَا قَصـِيْرَة

Dan kehidupan dunia itu hina, serta masa untuk hidup itu singkat

وَلاَ يَحْرِصْ عَلَيْهَا سِوَى أَعْمَى الْبَصِيْرَة

Dan tidak ada orang yang rakus akan dunia melainkan orang yang buta hatinya

عَدِيْمُ الْعَقْلِ لَوْ كَانَ يَعْقِلْ كَانَ أَفْكـَر

Yang tidak berakal, yang apabila ia benar-benar berakal ia akan berfikir

تَفَكِّرْ فِي فَنَاهـَا

Berfikirlah akan dunia yang tidak kekal

وَفِي كَثْرَةِ عَنَاهَا

Dan penderitaannya (dunia) yang banyak.

وَفِي قِلَّةِ غِنَاهـَا

Dan akan kekayaannya (dunia) yang sedikit.

فَطُوْبَى ثُمَّ طُوْبَى لِمَنْ مِنْـهَا تَحَـذَّرْ

Maka beruntunglah dan sungguh beruntung bagi siapa yang berhati-hati dari

pada dunia

وَطَلَّقَهَا وَفِي طَاعَةِ الرَّحْمنِ شَمَرْ

Dan menceraikannya (dunia), dan bersiap-siap menuju kepada ketaatan Allah.

أَلاَ يَا عَيْن جُوْدِيْ بِدَمْعٍ مِنْكِِ سَائِـلْ

Wahai mata! Curahkanlah dari padamu air mata yang mengalir

عَلَى ذَاكَ الْحَبِيْبِ الَّذِيْ قَدْ كَانَ نَازِلْ

Untuk seorang kekasih yang telah di utus (Nabi Muhammad s.a.w.)

مَعَنَا فِي الْمَرَابِعْ وَأَصْبَحَ سَفَر رَاحِلْ

Ia bersama kami dan sekarang telah pergi

وَأَمْسَى الْقَلْبُ وَالْبَالُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ مُكَدَّر

Maka hati ini setelah kepergiannya menjadi menjadi sedih

وَلكـِنْ حَسْبِيَ الله

Akan tetapi cukup bagiku, Allah

وَكـُلُّ الأَمْرِ للـهِ

Dan segala urusan akan kembali pada Allah

وَلاَ يَبْقَى سِوَى الله

Dan tiada yang kekal kecuali Allah

عَلَى بَشَّارِ جَادَتْ سَحَائِبْ رَحْمَةِ الْبَرّ

Semoga Allah memberikan curahan rahmatnya atas penghuni Bassyar (tiga tempat pengkuburan para Auliya).

وَحَيَّاهُمْ بِرَوْحِ الرِّضـَا رَبِّي وَبَشَّـرْ

Dan semoga Dia (Allah) mencurahkan keredhaannya atas mereka serta memberi khabar gembira

بِهَـا سَادَاتُـنَا وَالشُّيُوْخُ الْعَارِفُوْنَـا

Disana terdapat tuan-tuan dan guru-guru kami yang �arif

وَأَهـْلُوْنَا وَأَحْبـَابِ قَلْبِيْ نَازِلُوْنَـا

keluarga kami dan orang-orang yang kami cintai

وَمَنْ هُمْ فِي سَرَائِرِ فُؤَادِيْ قَاِطِنُوْنَـا

Dan mereka orang-orang yang berada dalam lubuk hatiku

بِسَاحَةِ تُرْبِهَا مِنْ ذَكِيِّ الْمِسْكِ أَعْطَر

Mereka berada di tempat yang debunya tercium aroma bau kasturi

مَنَازِلُ خَيْرِ سَادَة

Tempat-tempat persinggahan bagi sebaik-baik manusia

لِكُلِّ النَّاسِ قَادَة

Mereka pemimpin bagi umat manusia

مَحَبَّتَهُمْ سَعَادَة

Dalam mencintai mereka terdapat kebahagiaan

أَلاَ يَا بَخْت مَنْ زَارَهُمْ بِالصِّدْقِ وانْدَر

Sungguh beruntung bagi siapa yang menziarahi mereka dengan tulus dan datang

إِلَيْـهِمْ مُعْتَنـِي كُلُّ مَطْلُوْبِهِ تَيَسـَّرْ

Kepada mereka dengan penuh perhatian maka semua permintaannya akan dipermudahkan

سلام سلام كمسك الختام

سَلاَمٌ سلام كَمِسْكِ الْخِتَامِ

Salam dan salam sebagai penutup yang baik

عَلَيْكُمْ أُحَيْبَابَنَا ياكِرَام

Atasmu wahai kekasih-kekasihku yang mulia

ومَنْ ذِكْرُهُمْ أُنْسُنَا فِي الظَّلاَم

Dengan mengingat mereka terdapat ketenteraman

ونُوْرٌ لَنَا بَيْنَ هذا الأَنَام

Dan cahaya bagi kami di antara manusia sejagat

سَكَنْتُمْ فُؤَادِيْ وربِّ العِبَاد

Demi Allah! Engkau bertempat dalam hatiku

وأَنْتُمْ مَرَامِي وأَقْصَى الْمُرَاد

Kamu sekelian adalah maksud dan tujuanku

فَهَلْ تُسْعِدُونِي بِصَفْوِ الْوِدَاد

Tidakkah kau berikan padaku cinta yang suci

وهَلْ تَمْنَحُوْنِي شَرِيْفَ الْمَقَام

Dan tidakkah kau berikan padaku kedudukan yang mulia

أنَا عَبْدُكُمْ يا أُهَيْلَ الْوَفَا

Aku adalah pembantumu wahai orang-orang yang mulia

وفِي قُرْبِكُمْ مَرْهَمِي والشِّفَا

Dekat denganmu adalah ubat dan kesembuhan bagiku

فلاَ تُسْقِمُوْنِي بِطُوْلِي الْجَفَا

Maka janganlah kau sakiti aku dengan berjauhan dariku

ومُنُّوْا بِوَصْلٍ ولَوْ فِي الْمَنَام

Dekatkanlah aku denganmu walau hanya  dalam mimpiku

أَمُوْتُ وأَحْيَا عَلَى حُبِّكُم

Aku mati dan hidup dalam keadaan  mencintaimu

وذُلِّي لَدَيْكُمْ وعِزِّي بِكُمْ

Aku merasa hina dihadapanmu, dan bersamamu aku mulia

ورَاحَاتُ رُوْحِي رَجَا قُرْبِكُمْ

Ketenteraman jiwaku adalah berharap untuk dekat dengamu

وعَزْمِي وقَصْدِيْ إِلَيْكُمْ دَوَام

Azam dan tujuanku sentiasa padamu

فَلاَ عِشْتُ إِنْ كانَ قَلْبِي سَكَنْ

Aku tak akan hidup senang jika hatiku tenteram

إلَى الْبُعْدِ عَنْ أَهْلِهِ والْوَطَن

Dengan berjauhan dari orang-orang yang bersih hati dan tanah air mereka

ومَنْ حُبُّهُمْ فِي الْحَشَا قدْ قَطَن

Atau jauh dari orang-orang yang bertempat dalam lubuk hatiku

وخَامَرَ مِنِّي جَمِيْعَ الِْعظَام

Dan telah bercampur dengan seluruh badanku

إِذَا مَرَّ بِالْقَلْبِ ذِكْرُ الْحَبِيْب

Bila hati terdengar nama orang yang dikasihi

ووَادِي الْعَقِيْقِ وذَاكَ الْكَثِيْب

Dan lembah ‘Aqiq (satu lembah di Madinah) serta negeri itu

يَمِيْلُ كَمَيْلِ الْقَضِيْبِ الرَّطِيْب

Hatiku akan bergerak (kerana senang) sebagaimana dahan pokok yang bergoyang

ويَهْتَزُّ مِنْ شَوْقِهِ والْغَرَام

Dan akan bergetar kerana rindu dan cinta

لإِنْ كَانَ هَذَا فَيَا غُرْبَتِي

Kalaulah aku berjauhan darimu, aku akan merasa terasing

ويَا طُوْلَ حُزْنِي ويَا كُرْبَتِي

Alangkah sedih dan merananya aku

وَلِيْ حُسْنُ ظَنٍّ بِهِ قُرْبَتِي

Aku memiliki prasangka baik, dari itu aku dapat mendekatimu

بِذُلِّي وحَسْبِيْ بِهِ يَا غُلاَم

Dengan aku merendah dan mengharap wahai tuan

عَسَى اللهُ يَشْفِي غَلِيْلَ الصُّدُوْر

Semoga Allah mengubati hati yang sakit

بِوَصْلِ الْحَبَائِبْ وَفَكِّ الْقُيُوْد

Dengan berdekatan dengan para kekasih, juga dengan melepaskan ikatan

فَرَبِّي رَحِيْمٌ كَرِيْمٌ وَدُوْد

Sungguh Allah Maha Pengasih, Pemurah, Pemberi kasih sayang

يَجُوْدُ عَلَى مَنْ يَشَا بِالْمَرَام

Yang memberi kepada siapa yang di kehendaki-Nya
